Dr. Sangeeta Taak is a Senior Assistant Professor of Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, India. She has a teaching experience of 17 years. She has 35+ publications to her credit. She received various scholarships and Grants in the past.
She has participated in the One Month Summer Programme organized by the IIDH Strasbourg, France on International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, from July 4, 2011- July 29, 2011 in France. She received a diploma in the CIEDHU programme, which is a recognition for the human rights teaching at academic level. The International Committee of the Red Cross sponsored it.
She has also participated in the Five Day Training Programme for the Professors in International Humanitarian Law, organized by the Geneva Academy of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in collaboration with the International Committee of, Geneva in Geneva from 23 -27 August, 2010.
Her area of interest is Human Rights, IHL, Refugee Law, International humanitarian law, International Criminal Law.
